On Tuesday, June 17, the United Kingdom announced the introduction of new sanctions against Russia. 10 individuals and 20 vessels were subject to restrictions.
This is stated on the country’s government website.
It is noted that the sanctions are directed against four individuals, six legal entities and 20 vessels, including oil tankers, companies related to the maritime industry and suppliers of goods to Russia, in particular electronics.
In addition, the sanctions are directed against individuals and companies that are or have been involved in destabilizing, undermining, or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty, or independence of Ukraine.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer is expected to outline the details of the sanctions at the G7 summit in Canada.

As reported, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced the 18th package of sanctions against Russia . It is mainly aimed at the Russian energy and banking sectors, and also provides for strengthening export bans and control over the circumvention of the sanctions regime.
