GUR attacked two airfields, a radar station, and a terminal in the Krasnodar Territory

On the night of August 20, Ukrainian military forces struck airfields in temporarily occupied Donetsk and Russian Primorsky-Akhtarsk, as well as the Tamanneftegaz marine terminal in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation.

This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

The GUR stated that operators of the Department of Active Operations and the Department of Unmanned Systems, as part of the deepstrike operation, attacked the storage and launch sites of Russian drones at two airfields.

As a result of the strikes, the Ukrainian military damaged ground elements of the complexes and UAV launchers. Fires broke out on the territory of both airfields.

In addition, near the airfield in Primorsko-Akhtarsk, GUR operators detected and hit two Russian radar stations – 55Zh6U “Nebo-U” and 55Zh6UM “Nioby”.

That same night, the GUR, together with other components of the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine, attacked the Tamanneftegaz marine terminal in Krasnodar Krai. According to intelligence, this facility was supplying the Russian army.

The attack damaged the tank farm and elements of the main pipelines. A large-scale fire broke out on the terminal territory.

As a reminder, on August 19 and the night of August 20, the Ukrainian military struck two important facilities of Russia’s fuel infrastructure . The TANEKO oil refinery in Tatarstan and the Tamanneftegaz oil terminal in the Krasnodar Territory were hit.
