On Sunday, August 17, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine struck a logistics hub important for the Russian occupiers in the Voronezh region.
This was reported by hromadske, citing sources.
According to the publication’s interlocutor, the intelligence officers conducted the operation, interacting with units of the State Border Service and other components of the Defense Forces.
As a result, it was possible to disrupt the enemy’s railway connection and stop the passage of rail transport through the “Lisky” station.
In particular, as noted, the supply of ammunition and personnel to the Russian army has been disrupted.
Ukrainian intelligence emphasized that the relevant station is of great logistical importance for providing support to Russian troops in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
Earlier, the Main Intelligence Directorate reported on an operation that stopped Russian railway logistics in the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhia region.
