GUR used the latest Magura drones to strike Russian radars in Crimea

The special unit of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry’s GUR “Group 13” conducted an operation in temporarily occupied Crimea in late July, during which it hit two Russian radar sites. To accomplish the task, Ukrainian intelligence officers used the latest Magura sea platforms equipped with FPV drones.

According to the GUR, during the operation, a control machine from the Podlyot radar complex was hit, as well as a friend-or-foe recognition system — the Parol-4 radar interrogator.

Intelligence noted that to carry out the operation, special forces used the latest Magura naval platforms, in particular FPV drone carriers, which allowed them to strike at ground targets of the Russian occupation army in Crimea.

“From now on, our “Magurs” threaten the Russian occupiers on land as well – this is a radical shift of the struggle to another plane. In general, our operations during the war with the Russian aggressor confirm that there will be no place for the invaders in Crimea, neither in the water area, nor in the sky over the Black Sea, nor on the Crimean land. Crimea is Ukraine,” said the commander of “Group 13” with the call sign “Thirteenth.”

The GUR recalled that since the beginning of the full-scale war, operators of the “Group 13” special forces unit have destroyed 9 and damaged 5 Russian ships, destroyed 3 Russian helicopters, damaged another helicopter, and also destroyed 2 fighters from the Russian Black Sea Fleet.

Recall that the Security Service of Ukraine, together with the Defense Forces, carried out a new series of strikes on Russia’s military, logistics, and fuel infrastructure.The aircraft factory in temporarily occupied Crimea, the port in Taman, and one of the largest oil refineries in the Russian Federation in Volgograd were hit .

It was previously reported that units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces during July struck a Russian naval unmanned craft (UMC) base in temporarily occupied Crimea , a number of air defense systems, a launch site for Shahed strike drones, as well as tankers of the Russian shadow fleet in the Black and Azov Seas.
