“Hare ears” were cut off: Russians fell into three cauldrons near Dobropillya

In the Dobropil direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine conducted successful counteroffensives – probably three “cauldrons” for the Russians in the area of Kucherovy Yar, Volodymyrivka, and on the Razine-Novotoretske line.

This was announced by the head of the assault units department, Valentyn Manko, in an interview with Radio NV.

“In the Dobropol direction, these “hare ears” were short. The 425th, 1st, and 25th regiments and battalions, respectively, were operating there at once. Then there was a second boiler. They have been cut off for a long time. About three weeks ago, we began a major operation to block the enemy and completely surround him,” the military man noted.

In general, according to his information, we are talking about the following “boilers”:

• Maly – in the Kucherovoy Yar area.
• Middle – in the Volodymyrivka area, where the remains of the Dobropil protrusion were cut off.
• The largest is probably on the Razine-Novotoretske line.

“Today, I can say that then there was the second part, if you remember, you can say, the “hare’s head”. And now the basis of these offensive actions was completed today. That is, there are three boilers: one small, one slightly larger and one large. We cannot say the details, where they are and how – for now we need to keep everything in an information vacuum. But this is positive news, which, I think, cannot but please our society,” said the head of the assault units department, Valentyn Manko.

As a reminder, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine thwarted a Russian offensive operation in the Pokrovska and Dobropillya areas . Ukrainian units inflicted significant losses on the occupiers and deprived the enemy of the opportunity to launch a full-fledged offensive in this direction.

Zelensky noted that one of Ukraine’s counteroffensive operations is currently underway in the Donetsk region. According to him, the fighting in the Pokrovska and Dobropillya areas was “fierce”, but thanks to the actions of the defenders, the enemy suffered significant losses.
