British actress Jessie Cave, known for her role as Lavender Brown in the Harry Potter franchise, was not invited to a fan meeting because she registered on OnlyFans.
According to Mirror , citing the organizers, the refusal was explained by the fact that the event was a family affair, and the OnlyFans platform is associated with explicit content.
The actress commented on the situation and called it strange.
“It was weird for me, because a lot of the actors who do these things are doing explicit scenes. And I’m just playing with my hair!” Cave said.
The actress announced she created an account on the portal in the spring. She says she posts “hair sounds” and other sensual content that appeals to people with hair fetishes, but isn’t explicit. Another reason she registered was to pay off debts and finance her home renovation.
“I’m not saddened by the prospect of no fan conventions. There will be a new cast; it’s a different time. I’ve been doing this for over 15 years and am grateful for all the memories,” she said.
