An official of the Kyiv CCC and SP was detained in the capital for extorting a bribe of $3,500 for removing a conscript from the wanted list.
This was reported by the Prosecutor General’s Office.
It is noted that the head of the assembly point of the Kyiv CCC and SP abused his influence and demanded and received an illegal benefit.
The official was detained while accepting a bribe. Prosecutors informed him of suspicion under Part 3 of Article 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
At the same time, the defendant was given a preventive measure in the form of detention with the possibility of posting bail.
“As part of the criminal proceedings, other possible cases of abuse of influence by the detained official or his colleagues are currently being investigated,” the UCP press service added.
