He carried out attacks on the Philharmonic and the university: SBU detained an FSB agent in Kropyvnytskyi
The SBU detained an FSB agent who guided Russian drones during a large-scale attack on Kropyvnytskyi.

A Russian agent was detained in the Kirovohrad region, who was preparing coordinates for an air attack by the occupiers on the regional center on July 28, 2025. Then, as a result of enemy strikes, the buildings of the philharmonic society, the university, and houses in the city center were damaged.
“The aggressor’s air strike was one of the largest since the beginning of the full-scale war. The enemy used kamikaze drones of the “Shahed” type, which were directed at the civilian infrastructure facilities of Kropyvnytskyi at the direction of an FSB agent,” the SBU noted.
The FSB agent turned out to be a 47-year-old local unemployed man who had come to the attention of the occupiers through his pro-Kremlin comments on Telegram channels. After being recruited, he was tasked with collecting geolocations for a drone strike on the city.
After the enemy attack on the regional center, the defendant “reported” to the Russian intelligence service about its consequences for the purpose of adjusting repeated and preparing new attacks.
At the same time, the agent tracked the directions of the Defense Forces’ cargo trains through the region for the occupiers.
“SBU specialists detained the attacker “red-handed” when he was setting up a “video trap” near a railway facility. At the scene, a phone with evidence of his contacts with the FSB was seized from him,” the Security Service noted.
The agent was informed of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – high treason committed under martial law. He faces life imprisonment.
By the way, the SBU detained a Russian agent who was preparing a breakthrough for an enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group in the Sumy region.
As a reminder, in the ranks of the Defense Forces , the Security Service exposed a serviceman who worked for Russian special services and shared information about fellow soldiers with the enemy.
As reported, the Security Service of Ukraine exposed and detained an FSB agent who served in the National Guard assault brigade. The operation took place in Kharkiv with the assistance of the Minister of Internal Affairs and the NGU command.
