U.S. President Donald Trump has publicly commented on Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and the state of bilateral relations, suggesting that Riyadh’s stance toward Washington has shifted.”

He said this at the Saudi business forum in Miami.

According to Trump, the Saudi prince did not expect this development in relations with the United States and is forced to adjust his behavior.

“He didn’t think he was going to have to kiss my ass. He really didn’t,” said US President Donald Trump.

Trump also noted that previously the crown prince had counted on the weakness of the American side; however, according to him, the situation has changed.

“He thought he would just be another failed American president, under whom the country would go downhill, but now he has to be nice to me,” he added.

The US President stressed that Saudi Arabia must change the tone of its communication with the United States.

At the same time, it is noted that Trump previously positively assessed the Saudi prince’s role, calling him a warrior and stating that the country is on the same side as the United States.

Recall that US President Donald Trump is considering renaming the Strait of Hormuz—a key route for global oil supplies—if the United States establishes control over it.

Earlier, the media reported mass cases of American soldiers refusing to participate in a possible ground war, which became a serious challenge for the US administration. Moreover, ignoring intelligence data and society’s lack of preparation are driving the situation into a dead end.
