Military, Deputy Commander of the 1st Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine “Azov” Svyatoslav “Kalyna” Palamar stated that Andriy Parubiy was a person from the core of the national-patriotic environment, who reached high positions and at the same time remained a true Ukrainian.

“I have known Andriy Parubiy since 1999. We worked together with him in the ranks of the Patriot of Ukraine organization, which he headed, which was the first to raise the banner of all the challenges that befell Ukraine in the future and wanted to prepare it for these things. To the war, to the cultural and political expansion of the Russian Federation. At a time when our theses were still just a cry in the wilderness, we tried to pave a different path. And Andriy was especially active in this, not only as an organizer and practitioner, but also as a theorist, as a thinker, as a visionary,” the message says.

According to “Kalyna,” when he was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for special services to the Ukrainian people in 2016, it was important for him to receive it with the signature of Andriy Parubiy.

The military added that the politician always put the common good above the personal, and “this quality has been with him since his youth throughout his life.”

Svyatoslav Palamar emphasized that the goal of the Russians, who order terrorist acts in Ukraine, is to make Ukrainians afraid and give up.

“It is worth being careful, but we should not be afraid in any case. Then any actions of the Russian Federation will not stand in the way of our plans to defend the state. Eternal memory to Andriy and condolences to his family and friends,” he summed up.
