Head of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov commented on the death of People’s Deputy Andriy Parubiy.

According to him, the murder of a politician is a challenge for the state. Umerov emphasized that those guilty of the crime must face the harshest punishment.

The head of the National Security and Defense Council added that Parubiy was a consistent defender of Ukraine, its statehood and sovereignty.

“I express my sincere condolences to the family and friends of Andriy Parubiy. A great loss for all of Ukraine,” the message says.

Let us recall that on August 30 , public and political figure Andriy Parubiy was killed in Lviv .

Later, it became known that the Lviv region is searching for the shooter who killed the current deputy from the “European Solidarity” party and former speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy . A photo of the alleged killer is being published on the Internet.

Later, journalists reported that MP Andriy Parubiy was shot 8 times by a man disguised as a courier.
