Former Chief of Staff of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak commented on his dismissal and said that he will continue to consider President Volodymyr Zelenskyy a friend. He also confirmed his participation in peace talks with the United States to end Russia’s war against Ukraine.

Andriy Yermak noted that his relations with Volodymyr Zelensky remain friendly, despite his dismissal from the position of Head of the Presidential Office.

“He was my friend before this job and I will consider him that after it,” said Andriy Yermak.

The former head of the OPU also confirmed that he was scheduled to fly to the United States on November 29 for talks with representatives of President Donald Trump’s administration regarding the peace plan.

Yermak emphasized that he was responsible for developing the first 28-point US peace plan, which contained Russia’s demands for Ukraine to surrender territories and abandon NATO membership.

“The delegation under my leadership in Geneva, together with our American partners, managed to ensure that the 28-point document no longer exists,” he added.

At the same time, Yermak emphasized that there are several difficult points that still need to be agreed upon.

“In any case, despite the pressure, the president will not sign or approve anything that contradicts the interests of Ukraine,” said Andriy Yermak.

Earlier, the head of the President’s Office, Andriy Yermak, submitted a resignation letter.
