Head of the Armed Forces Budanov made a statement amid reports of possible personnel changes in the Armed Forces of Ukraine

OP Chairman Kyrylo Budanov stated that “the position of society has been heard” and promised that “there will be results.” His statement came amid active discussion of possible personnel changes in the military leadership.

Budanov wrote about this on social networks.

According to him, society’s emotional reaction to the latest internal changes is understandable, because the indifference of Ukrainians helps the state survive.

“The position of society has been heard. Work is underway. There will be results,” he emphasized.

Budanov also called on Ukrainians not to allow internal conflicts and not to “hate” each other, emphasizing that this is exactly what Russia expects.

At the same time, “Ukrainian Pravda”, citing sources in the government, reports that President Volodymyr Zelensky is allegedly looking for a candidate for the position of Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to replace Oleksandr Syrsky.

There is currently no official confirmation of this information. The day before, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that General Oleksandr Syrsky continues to perform the duties of Commander-in-Chief, and any reports of his dismissal are untrue.
