“Health Screening 40+” is being launched in Ukraine: what you need to know
On January 1, the national program “Health Screening 40+” will launch in Ukraine, which will allow people over the age of 40 to identify the risks of chronic diseases in a timely manner.
This was reported by Prime Minister Yulia Svirydenko.
The program provides free screening for early detection of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and mental health problems. The cost of the screening is fully covered by the state.
According to Svyrydenko, Ukrainians aged 40 and over will receive an invitation to undergo screening in the “Diya” application on the 30th day after their birthday. After confirming participation, you need to order a Diya.Card or use an existing one. Within seven days, 2,000 hryvnias will be credited to the card. After that, you can sign up for an examination at one of the medical institutions participating in the program.
For those who do not use “Diya”, a different mechanism has been provided. After the 30th day from their birthday, they need to contact a partner bank to apply for a special card, and then – to the ASC.
Screening can be done at state, municipal, and private medical facilities. The place of registration does not matter.
It was previously reported that starting January 1, 2026, the salaries of social workers in Ukraine will increase significantly. The increase will occur by applying a coefficient of 2.5 and provides for an increase in payments of approximately 150%.
As a reminder, Ukrainians have already purchased 40,000 train tickets as part of the “3,000 km across Ukraine” program. Most often, people choose routes to frontline and border communities.
