Heat and nighttime cold snap: weather in Ukraine for the weekend

On August 9 and 10, the weather in Ukraine will be comfortable. The average daytime temperature in the country will be 25-27 degrees Celsius.

On Saturday, August 9, dry weather with some cloudiness is expected across the country. The hottest weather will be in the south – in the Odessa, Nikolaev, Kherson regions and in Crimea, the temperature will reach +32 degrees during the day and drop to +16 at night. In the eastern regions, up to +28 is expected during the day and up to +15 at night. In the western regions, +28 is expected during the day and up to +13 at night, and +31 is possible in Uzhgorod. In the north of the country, it will be up to +26 during the day and up to +14 at night.

On Sunday, August 10, rain is possible in the western regions. At the same time, the air temperature will rise to +33 during the day, to +13 at night. In the east, no precipitation and up to +28 during the day, up to +13 at night. In the south, it will remain hot – up to +32 during the day and up to +18 at night. In the north, up to +27 during the day, at night in some places up to +12.

Dry weather will persist in Kyiv on weekends. Daytime temperatures will fluctuate between +25–27, cooler at night: +15–17 on Saturday, and a drop to +13 on Sunday is possible.
