Heat of +42 covered Europe: weather forecaster told what to expect in Ukraine

The abnormal heat that has gripped Western European countries will not spread to Ukraine. Instead, the weather in the coming days will remain typical for mid-summer, and the temperature will be further softened by a cold atmospheric front.

This is reported by Espresso with reference to weather forecaster Natalka Didenko.

According to her, the current temperatures in Ukraine correspond to the climatic norm for this period of the year. Despite the increase in temperature to +30…+32 degrees in some regions, there is no reason to talk about abnormal heat.

Didenko noted that the main attention of meteorologists is currently focused on Western and Central Europe, where a powerful heat wave has formed. At the same time, this air mass will not spread to Ukrainian territory.

The weather forecaster explained that a cold atmospheric front has already begun to cross Ukraine. Thanks to this, the temperature in the western and northern regions will drop slightly, and the weather will become more comfortable.

According to her, temperatures within +30…+32 degrees for the end of June and beginning of July are a common occurrence and do not belong to the category of extreme weather events.

Meanwhile, in France and a number of other Western European countries, the air temperature has already risen to +40…+42 degrees. According to preliminary forecasts, such heat may persist for more than a week, and relief is not expected before July 5-6.

In Ukraine, more comfortable temperatures and periodic short-term rains are forecast in the coming days. Forecasters currently see no signs of extreme heat.
