Heat up to +32 and a sunny weekend: but the weather will change dramatically from Monday

The weekend in Ukraine will be warm and sunny, and with the beginning of the new week, some regions will be covered with rains and thunderstorms. In places, the temperature will rise above +30 degrees, but forecasters do not predict the abnormal heat that will cover the countries of Western Europe.
This was reported by the Ukrhydrometeorological Center and weather forecaster Natalka Didenko. According to their forecasts, dry and comfortable summer weather will prevail in most regions on June 20-21.
On Friday, short-term rains with thunderstorms are possible in the strip from Vinnytsia region through Cherkasy and Poltava regions to Kharkiv region. Local precipitation is also forecast in some areas of the northeast and Transcarpathia. No significant precipitation is expected in other regions.
On Saturday, the weather will be even calmer. Sunny and dry weather will prevail almost throughout the country. Only in the evening, rain may fall in the far west.
The daytime air temperature over the weekend will be +25…+29 degrees. In the western regions and in the southwest of the country, the thermometer will rise to +30…+32 degrees in some places.
Natalka Didenko noted that Ukrainians should not worry about reports of intense heat in Europe. According to her, in Spain, Portugal and France next week the temperature may exceed +40 degrees, but such indicators are not expected in Ukraine.
“The air temperature is rising, but to acceptable summer values. It will not reach +40 degrees in Ukraine,” the weather forecaster emphasized.
Sunny weather without precipitation is forecast for Kyiv on June 20-21. During the day, the air will warm up to +26…+27 degrees, and at night the temperature will be around +17…+20 degrees.
However, the weather situation will start to change from Monday. According to the Ukrhydrometeorological Center, moderate, sometimes significant rains with thunderstorms are expected in the western regions, and in the afternoon in most central and northern regions. Despite this, the heat will persist – in a number of regions the temperature will continue to reach +30…+32 degrees.
As reported, the African heat, which has been actively discussed in the media in recent days, does not threaten Ukraine in the near future. Despite temperature records expected in a number of European countries, Ukraine will continue to have comfortable summer weather without extreme heat.
