Heavy rainfall is expected in the Odessa region: forecasters have announced the date

Heavy rain is expected in the Odessa region in the coming days, with a yellow warning issued.

This was reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center .

“Significant rainfall (45-80 mm over three days) is expected in the Odessa region on October 7-9. The warning level is yellow,” the statement reads.

It is noted that such weather conditions may complicate the work of energy, construction, and public utilities enterprises and traffic.

As a reminder, the recent overnight downpour caused significant street flooding in Odessa and disruptions to public transportation . Trams and trolleybuses are partially suspended, and cars are barely navigable on many roads.
