The Pentagon has released $400 million in military aid to Ukraine after pressure from U.S. lawmakers.
This is reported by Kyiv Post.
US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth stated during a congressional hearing that the funds have already been released.
According to him, bureaucratic delays were eliminated: the money started moving “yesterday.”
This aid was previously approved by Congress, but was frozen for a while for no apparent reason. This led to criticism in the US of the officials responsible.
