Helicopter crashes in Los Angeles, catches fire, one dead and one injured

A helicopter crashed between two commercial buildings and caught fire in the Chatsworth neighborhood of Los Angeles, killing three people and injuring another.
This is reported by Bloomberg with reference to the Los Angeles Fire Department. The data on the accident is also confirmed by the LAFD.
Rescuers examined four people at the scene. Three of them were pronounced dead by doctors. The fourth victim was taken to the hospital, his condition is currently unknown.
One of the dead was a pedestrian who was in the parking lot. Police pulled him out of the fire zone, but the man could not be saved.
A fire broke out after the helicopter crashed. The fire spread to four cars and damaged two storage containers. 56 firefighters arrived at the scene to extinguish the flames and prevent them from spreading to buildings.
The make and type of the helicopter have not yet been determined. It is also unknown where it came from and how many people were on board.
The crash comes hours after another fatal crash in Chatsworth, where an SUV crashed into a bus. The fire department has not yet said whether the two incidents are related. The helicopter crash will be investigated by the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
