By the end of the week, strong heat will begin to enter Ukraine, moving from western Europe to eastern Europe. In most regions of the country, the air temperature will rise to +29…+34 degrees, and in the west, in some places, up to +37 degrees are expected.
This was reported by weather forecaster Natalka Didenko.
According to her forecast, Ukrainians will feel the first significant weather changes on June 27. The western regions will warm up to +30…+35 degrees, while in the rest of the territory the temperature will remain more moderate — around +26…+29 degrees.
“The heat from western Europe is gradually moving eastward,” Didenko noted, adding that the hottest days will be Sunday and Monday.
Over the weekend, short-term rains with thunderstorms are possible mainly in the eastern regions and in places in the central regions. At the same time, dry weather will prevail in most of the territory of Ukraine.
No significant precipitation is forecast in Kyiv on June 27–28. Due to the influence of the anticyclone, the temperature will gradually increase: on Saturday, about +29 degrees are expected, on Sunday — up to +32, and on Monday the air may warm up to +34.
The highest temperatures are forecast in western Ukraine on Sunday and Monday — in places up to +33…+38 degrees. According to the weather forecaster, the heat may ease from July 2.
