Hellish week: heat returns to Ukraine to +37°C

The weather in Ukraine in the coming days will be determined by the heat, which in the south of the country will reach a record +37°C. The highest temperatures are expected in Mykolaiv, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions, while the west of the country will enjoy relative coolness. Precipitation is possible only locally – mainly in the eastern regions.
This is evidenced by the forecast of the Ukrhydrometeorological Center.
Ukrainians are set to experience one of the hottest weeks of the summer — the air temperature in some regions will rise to +37°C, forecasters report. Particularly high temperatures will be recorded in the southern regions, where thermometers will show up to +35–36 degrees, and in the center and north – stable +28–30°C.

- In most regions, partly cloudy skies, with occasional short-term rains and thunderstorms.
- In the west: cooler — +23…+25°C.
- Kyiv: up to +30°C.
- Pervomaisk (Mykolaiv region) — up to +36°C — the hottest place in the country.
Wednesday, July 23:
- Dry and hot throughout the territory, except for some areas in the east.
- Lviv, Chernivtsi — +25…+27°C.
- Kyiv — +25…+27°C.
- In the south – up to +34°C.
Thursday, July 24:
- Weather without precipitation.
- Mykolaiv, Kherson, Zaporizhia, Simferopol — up to +37°C.
- Kyiv — +26…+28°C.
Friday, July 25:
- In the west, cloudy with clearings, possible rain.
- The South is again in the center of a temperature wave — up to +34°C.
- Kyiv — +27…+29°C.
Saturday, July 26:
- West — +24…+26°C, temperature decrease.
- Kyiv — stable +27…+29°C.
- Pervomaisk is again among the heat leaders – up to +35°C.
Possible rain:
- Sumy, Kharkiv, Zaporizhia, Kherson and Crimea – local precipitation is possible on Wednesday.
- On other days, it is mostly dry throughout the territory.
It is worth adding that such heat waves can pose health risks, especially for the elderly and children. It is important to avoid being in the open sun during daytime hours, adhere to a drinking regimen, and not overload the body with physical activity.
