The Security Service of Ukraine collected evidence of the crimes of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin and informed him of the suspicion in absentia.

This is stated on the SBU website.

As the investigation established, the Russian official used his administrative resources to “mobilize” Muscovites into the occupation army.

In particular, it is known that almost 90 thousand residents of the Russian capital were recruited through “selection points for military service under contract.”

Sobyanin became the head of a specialized group within the Coordination Council under the Russian government. In this way, he helped the defense ministry of the aggressor country deploy additional locations for mobilized and new military-industrial complex facilities.

“Sobyanin regularly attracts equipment and workers from the municipal enterprises under his control: Mosvodokanal, Mosgaz, and Moskollektor to equip Russian military facilities in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. This primarily concerns the construction of fortifications and fortified areas in the frontline areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions,” the SBU explained.

Having collected the necessary evidence, the Security Service investigators informed Sobyanin in absentia of suspicion under Part 5 of Article 27, Part 1 of Article 28, Part 2 of Article 437 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – aiding and abetting in waging an aggressive war committed by a group of persons.

Currently, comprehensive measures are underway to bring the person involved to justice, however, the process is complicated by his stay in Russia.

Earlier , Ukraine convicted in absentia the chief prison guard of Russia , who created a network of torture chambers in the occupied Kherson region.

We will remind you that the Security Service reported in absentia the suspicion of Grigory Leps , who promised the Russians a “fee” for each destroyed tank of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
