On Monday, March 9, in Kharkiv, at the site of a Russian missile hitting a multi-story building, search and rescue operations, which lasted for more than two days, were completed.

This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service.

According to rescuers, at least 10 people died in the strike, including two children — a 7-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl. Body fragments were also recovered from the rubble, and identification is currently underway. Another 16 people were injured in the Russian attack. Three children are among the victims.

In addition, dog handlers continue to work at the scene of the attack, as four people are considered missing.

As noted, the work was complicated by air raid sirens that constantly sounded in the city. “Thanks to the updated work algorithms, the personnel, fortunately, were not injured,” the rescuers emphasized.
