Hit on the head during document check: driver attacks military CCC in Lviv region

In the Lviv region, a minibus driver hit a serviceman of the Central Military District on the head with a wooden bat during a check of his military registration documents. The man received minor injuries. The court ordered the suspect to be placed under 24-hour house arrest.
This is stated in the ruling of the Lychakiv District Court of Lviv.
The incident occurred on October 23 at around 7:30 a.m. in the village of Lysynichi, Lviv district, on Trakt Hlynyanskyi Street. A serviceman from the alert group stopped a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter to check the driver’s documents.
During the inspection, a verbal argument broke out between the men. According to the investigation, the driver took a wooden bat from the passenger compartment and hit the soldier on the top of the head. The victim was diagnosed with a stab wound, which was classified as minor bodily injuries.
On the same day, the driver was informed of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 350 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. This refers to intentional infliction of bodily harm to an official in connection with the performance of his official duties.
On October 24, the court considered the investigator’s request for a preventive measure. The prosecutor supported it, and the suspect and his defense attorney did not object to house arrest.
The court ordered the man to be placed under 24-hour house arrest until December 23, 2026. He is not allowed to leave his place of residence. He must also appear at the summons of an investigator, prosecutor, or court, report a change of residence, and submit documents that allow him to travel abroad.
As a reminder, in Odessa , a driver who was stopped at a checkpoint wounded a serviceman of the Central Military District in the neck with an object resembling a knife, and then tried to run him over with a car. The man was detained on the spot, and the wounded serviceman was taken to the hospital.
As reported, in Sheptytskyi, Lviv region, a 47-year-old man attacked a serviceman of the CCC during a document check. He wounded the serviceman in the neck and fled, and during the detention he shot a policeman . The wounded serviceman is in intensive care.
