Honored Artist of Ukraine has died.

Actress of the Ivan Franko National Academic Drama Theater, Honored Artist of Ukraine Natalia Perchevskaya has passed away.

This was reported on the theatre’s official page.

“There are people who leave behind much more than just roles and memories of their performances. What remains is the warmth of encounters, a voice, a smile, moments of collaboration that become treasured over time,” the theater noted.

Natalia Perchevskaya graduated from the Ivan Karpenko-Karyi State Institute of Theatre Arts in Kyiv. She worked at the Franko Theatre since 1974 – for over half a century.

During this time, the actress played dozens of roles in theatrical productions, including The Kaidashev Family, Tevye-Tevel, and The Judgment and the Flame.

In 2018, Natalia Perchevskaya was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Ukraine.
