On Wednesday, February 4, measures to limit electricity consumption will be applied throughout the day in all Ukrainian regions.
This was reported by Ukrenergo.
Hourly outage schedules will apply to residential consumers, and capacity limitation schedules will apply to industry and business.
The corresponding decision is a consequence of combined Russian attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure.
However, the company warned that the situation in the power system may change, so consumers should monitor current information.
“When electricity appears on schedule, please consume it sparingly,” Ukrenergo urged.
It is worth noting that Russia has dealt the most powerful blow to Ukraine’s energy infrastructure since the beginning of 2026. Electricity generation and distribution facilities were under attack.
It is known that Russian troops carried out a massive missile and drone attack on the Odessa region , as a result of which more than 50 thousand residents of the region were left without electricity.
By the way, the Russians have launched a massive attack on critical infrastructure facilities in Vinnytsia region . The attack resulted in the loss of power to approximately 50 settlements.
