How many Ukrainians are considered missing: the Commissioner’s response

According to official statistics, more than 90,000 people are considered missing in Ukraine.

This was reported to Ukrainska Pravda by the Commissioner for Persons Missing in Special Circumstances, Artur Dobroserdov.

Among the missing are both military personnel and civilians, including children.

However, according to Dobroserdov, the largest share are fighters of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

Previously, the Rada adopted a draft law that will amend the Civil Code of Ukraine regarding the deadlines for declaring dead persons missing as a result of hostilities or armed conflict.
