Ukrainian banks set different conditions and fees for cash withdrawals from cards at ATMs. The size of the fee depends on the type of card, the amount, and the use of own or credit funds.
This is reported by “24 Channel” .
At PrivatBank, withdrawing your own funds from the card for payments at the bank’s ATMs is free of charge. For the “Universal” card, the commission is 1% in its own network and 1.5% at ATMs of other banks.
For withdrawals of credit funds or funds within the credit limit, the commission is from 3% to 3.5%, depending on the card tariff and terms of the contract. Cash withdrawals without a card via QR code for Digital cards are not charged.
At Oschadbank, cash withdrawals from its own ATMs within the monthly limit are free of charge. After exceeding the limit, a 1% fee is charged.
For withdrawing funds from ATMs of foreign banks, the commission is 1.5% of the amount and an additional 35 hryvnias.
At Sense Bank, you can usually withdraw your own funds without a commission within the limit of 20,000 hryvnias per month. After exceeding this limit, 3% of the amount is charged, but not less than 25 hryvnias.
For credit funds, the commission is 4% of the amount, but not less than UAH 20. The rate applies regardless of whether a Sense Bank ATM or another bank is used.
Terms may vary depending on the specific card and tariff package.
An alternative to an ATM is the “Cash at the counter” service. In ATB, Silpo, Varus supermarkets, as well as in some pharmacies and WOG and OKKO gas stations, you can get up to 6,000 hryvnias in one transaction.
To do this, you need to make a purchase and inform the cashier that you want to receive cash. For most debit cards, this operation is free.
