British intelligence has published data on the advance of the Russian army in Ukraine during July. In particular, during this time the enemy managed to occupy about 500-550 square kilometers.
This was reported by the British Ministry of Defense.
The occupiers directed the main direction of the attack towards the Pokrovsky direction, where they tried to surround the city from the northeast and southwest and put pressure on the logistics of the Defense Forces.
The Russians captured the same area of Ukrainian territory in June, after a monthly increase in capacity starting in March 2025.
At the same time, it is indicated that recently the Russian army has not had any noticeable successes in the Sumy region.
As it became known, the Pokrovsky direction is a key section of the front for the Russian occupiers , where Russian troops have concentrated 100,000 soldiers.
