How to get “Winter Support” from the state: step-by-step instructions

The government program “Winter Support” has already been launched in Ukraine, under which every Ukrainian can receive 1,000 hryvnias.
“ Pryamy ” has compiled a step-by-step guide on how to receive funds from the state.
In particular, there are two ways – online and offline.
Through “Action”:
To do this, you need to go to the application, in the “Services” section, select “Winter Support”. Next, you need to submit an application and select the recipient, the next step is to select the desired bank account, confirm your stay in Ukraine and click “Send”.
The money should be credited to your bank account within 10 business days.
Through Ukrposhta:
It will be possible to receive assistance through the postal operator from November 18. Pensioners and people who receive social benefits can use this method. They will receive funds to the account to which they receive their pension or assistance.
You don’t need to do anything extra. Ukrposhta employees will probably notify you about the accrual of 1,000 hryvnias when you pay your pension or social assistance.
However, if a person receives payments to a bank account and does not use “Diya”, there is an opportunity to submit a written application at the post office.
The state aid can be spent on utilities, medicines, Ukrainian-made products, postal services, books, charity and donations. They must be used by June 30, 2026.
As you know, since the launch of the “Winter Support” program on November 15 , 2.5 million citizens have already submitted applications for a one-time assistance of 1,000 hryvnias .
It was previously reported that the government wants to finance “Winter Support” by reducing other social expenditures : according to accompanying documents, it is proposed to take money from programs to protect children and low-income families.
We remind you that in Ukraine, the “winter support” program will be launched in December , under which citizens will be able to receive from one thousand to six and a half thousand hryvnias.
