Hrynkevich case: former head of Ukrenergo Kudrytskyi detained in Lviv region

The State Bureau of Investigation has raised new suspicions against businessman Ihor Hrynkevich, who is currently in custody, and detained the former head of Ukrenergo Volodymyr Kudrytskyi in the Lviv region.
As a source in law enforcement agencies told Ukrainska Pravda, an official report of suspicion is being prepared for Kudrytsky.
According to preliminary information, he is accused of fraud on a particularly large scale and money laundering.
Investigators believe that Kudrytskyi and Hrynkevich may have embezzled money from a state-owned company during tenders for the reconstruction of energy facilities back in 2018.
We will remind you that the former executive director of NPC Ukrenergo, Volodymyr Kudrytsky, has become a subject of an investigation conducted by the State Bureau of Investigation . Investigators are investigating his involvement in abuse of office and misappropriation of state company funds.
It was also previously reported that the Security Service of Ukraine and the National Anti-Corruption Bureau uncovered a large-scale embezzlement scheme of the National Energy Company “Ukrenergo” . The organizer of the scheme was the former deputy chairman of the Kharkiv Regional Council, who was a deputy of the regional council at the time of the crime. He is currently hiding abroad.
