Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said that the Druzhba oil pipeline, which had been completely shut down due to attacks by Ukrainian drones, had resumed deliveries on August 19.
He wrote about this on Facebook.
According to Szijjártó, it was possible to resume transportation thanks to agreements with the Deputy Minister of Energy of Russia Pavel Sorokin, whom he thanked.
At the same time, the Hungarian minister expressed hope that Ukraine would not carry out new attacks:
“We expect that Ukraine will not launch a new attack on the oil pipeline, which is critical to our country’s energy supply. This war is not ours, do not drag us into it,” he said.
Recall that Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto accused Ukraine of “attacking” an oil pipeline to Russia , which stopped oil supplies to his country. He did not specify the name of the facility, but it is likely that he is talking about “Druzhba”.
