Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that Ukraine is blocking the transportation of oil through the Druzhba pipeline and threatened to resume the process by force.

He spoke about this at the Gazdasagi Evnyito 2026 economic forum.

Orban emphasized that there can be no agreements with Ukraine and there will be no compromises.

“We will break the Ukrainian oil blockade by force,” the politician said, adding that the use of the pipeline will soon resume.

According to the Prime Minister, Hungary has the political and financial tools to force Ukraine to “lift the blockade.”

“I want to make it clear: we will win, and we will win with force. There will be no compromises. We will defeat them,” Orban said.

Let us remind you that some pro-Ukrainian European states and the European Commission are putting pressure on Ukraine through the Druzhba oil pipeline.

By the way, the European Union is considering the option of allocating funding to Ukraine for the repair of the Druzhba oil pipeline.

As is known, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban announced the possible cessation of electricity supplies to Ukraine if oil transit through the Druzhba oil pipeline is not resumed. According to him, a significant part of electricity comes to Ukraine from Hungary, and its cessation could have consequences.
