US President Donald Trump has denied the US government’s involvement in the Starlink restrictions in Ukraine and said he would release details about the war later. He also stressed that he wants a quick end to the fighting and is in talks with Volodymyr Zelensky and Vladimir Putin.

Donald Trump said he does not know who gave the order to restrict the operation of Starlink satellite communications in Ukraine. According to him, he checked the situation on the morning of October 16 and believes that the system is working the same as before.

“I don’t know who gave the order. I know that in my opinion everything stayed the same. I’m not sure it was turned off at all. But I’m pretty sure everything stayed the same. I just checked it this morning. It wasn’t us,” Trump said.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that restrictions on Starlink operations have not yet been lifted.

Trump also promised to release details about the war in Ukraine later. He said this in response to a journalist’s question about why there are calls for a change in the Ukrainian leadership and accusations against Kyiv, even though Russia has launched a full-scale invasion.

“I know the details, okay? And at some point I will make those details public. But I don’t care about anything except one thing: I want this war to finally end,” the American president said.

Trump also gave his own estimates of the casualties in the war. According to him, an average of 25,000 soldiers are killed each month, and during the previous month, losses allegedly amounted to 32,000 fighters.

He added that he is negotiating with the leaders of both states and believes that they are also interested in ending the war.

“I’m negotiating with both of them. And I think it’s going to end. That’s all I care about. I want this war to end,” Trump said.

As is known, on the night of October 14, the Ukrainian military recorded restrictions in the operation of Starlink satellite communications, in particular the Starshield system. Due to communication disruptions, it became more difficult for the Defense Forces to control drones, and some combat missions had to be canceled.

The Ministry of Defense later reported that the operation of the Starshield satellite communication system in motion has resumed and is gradually improving. The defense department continues to investigate the reasons for the restrictions that arose the day before and is checking the speed of the system at the front.

However, the administration of US President Donald Trump denies involvement in the restrictions on Starlink operations in Ukraine. Washington said it would contact SpaceX to find out the reasons for the problems.
