Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky believes that Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin do not have many topics for communication.

He stated this during a briefing in Denmark.

“I don’t know, I’m not sure that they have many common ideas, common topics for conversation, because they are very different people. But if we talk about Ukraine, we have supported President Trump’s idea of an unconditional ceasefire from the very beginning,” the head of state noted.

According to Zelensky, he is ready for any format of the meeting. He also added that in Russia only Putin really makes decisions. Therefore, to stop the war, a meeting at the level of the leaders of the countries is needed.

“We really want peace,” he added.

It was previously reported that a telephone conversation between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and US President Donald Trump is scheduled for July 4 .
