British writer and author of the dystopian novel “Altered Carbon” Richard Morgan called Russians Nazis and noted that he would not sell them the rights to his works.

He stated this in an interview with the Star Fortress project.

When asked whether his works would be published in Russia, the writer replied that his publishers had not published any of his books in the Russian Federation. He also assured that he would not personally sell the rights to the aggressor country.

“If they come to me with a contract for a Russian book, I won’t sign the deal. That goes without saying. But I don’t even think they’ll ever do that. It seems to me that in Europe at least, most publishers don’t work with Russians because of the sanctions. I don’t know for sure. But I can say with my hand on my heart that I personally wouldn’t sell the rights to those f*cking Russians. F*** those f*cking Russians,” Morgan said emotionally.

Morgan recalled that he has been collaborating with the Ukrainian video game company Gunzilla Games for 5 years and has visited the capital of Ukraine many times.

He also noted that he has good relations with many Ukrainians. Therefore, for him, Russia’s aggression against Ukraine has become personally “history.”

“This is also a personal anger that I feel very deeply. Because these people are my friends. This is personal. I worked with them. This is real. I was there. They were shelling Kyiv, and I was walking those streets,” the writer noted.

He also emphasized that the Russians are the closest modern equivalent of the Nazis.

“Are they ethnoracists? Of course. They want to invade Ukraine for ethnic reasons. Do they use torture and commit war crimes? Absolutely. Go through the list and they are f*cking Nazis. That much is obvious,” Morgan added.
