“I’m waiting here because everything is blocked because of you”: Macron found himself in a funny situation because of Trump

French President Emmanuel Macron’s car was stuck in New York City traffic for several minutes due to US President Donald Trump’s motorcade. The French leader was forced to call his American counterpart.

According to BMFTV, the incident occurred on the evening of September 22, after Macron emerged from his speech at the UN headquarters. A video posted on social media shows the French president and his delegation standing on the side of a closed intersection, speaking with a police officer.

The police officer apologizes to Macron several times, but explains that all traffic is blocked.

Then Macron called Trump on the phone.

“How are you? Guess what? I’m waiting here because everything is blocked for you,” the French president said.
