According to officials from the United States, Europe, and Ukraine, during the meeting with Zelensky, the American president expressed his disappointment and refused to look at the combat maps.
He hinted that ending the war is important to him, regardless of the territorial outcome, adding that returning Donbas is not a priority.
In addition, according to two officials, Trump emphasized that Ukraine should not count on American long-range Tomahawk cruise missiles.
As is known, against the backdrop of a potential meeting between Trump and Putin , the partners fear that Washington may make concessions to Moscow by postponing the transfer of weapons to Kyiv .
