In Bangladesh, a training fighter jet crashed into a school: at least 19 dead

A Bangladesh Air Force training plane crashed into a school in the city of Uttara on July 21. It is known that there are casualties and injuries as a result of the accident.

The Bangladeshi military said that an F-7 BGI training aircraft of the Bangladesh Air Force crashed in Uttar Pradesh. The aircraft took off at 1:06 p.m. local time.

According to preliminary data, the plane crashed into the roof of the school cafeteria. The accident occurred during school hours, when children were there.

The Bangladeshi fire department said 19 people were killed and more than 50 were hospitalized with burns. It is not yet clear how many children were injured.
