In Bukovina, a car crashed into a diesel locomotive: the driver died

On the night of Thursday, February 26, a fatal road accident occurred at a railway crossing in the village of Dubivtsi, Mamayivska hromada, Chernivtsi district. A Kia Sorento car collided with a diesel locomotive.

This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service in Chernivtsi region.

The driver, born in 1978, died in the accident.

Rescuers unblocked the man’s body from the mangled car using special tools and ensured fire safety at the scene. The body of the deceased was handed over to the medics.

The circumstances of the accident are being determined by law enforcement.

As reported, in Kryvyi Rih on Monday, February 9, a car hit an 11-year-old boy right at a pedestrian crossing . The child was hospitalized in serious condition.
