In February, the GUR special forces unit “Ghosts” attacked ships, an S-400 radar, and a Russian helicopter in Crimea.

Throughout February, the “Ghosts” special forces units of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine carried out strikes against ships, boats, and aircraft of the Russian army in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine .

According to intelligence, the targets hit included:

  • Project 22460 Okhotnik patrol ship;

  • radar station from the S-400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile system;

  • “Forpost” drone;

  • sea tug of project 1496M1;

  • ship of project 16640;

  • landing craft 02510 BK-16;

  • Ka-27 helicopter.

Intelligence noted that strikes on Russian targets in Crimea are part of operations to reduce the combat capabilities of occupation forces on the peninsula.

It was previously reported that Special Operations Forces carried out a series of successful strikes on Russian army targets in the temporarily occupied territories of southern and eastern Ukraine.

As a reminder, on the night of February 26 , the Defense Forces struck two radar stations in Crimea and a command and observation post in the Bryansk region .
