In Kharkiv, a woman forced her 14-year-old daughter to participate in pornographic broadcasts

Cyber police officers and investigators of the Main Investigation Department of the National Police detained a resident of Kharkiv with many children who was distributing pornographic content involving her 14-year-old daughter.

This was reported by the press service of the National Police of Ukraine.

The investigation established that the woman, for a monetary reward, conducted online broadcasts during which she forced a child to undress. Operatives of the Cyber Police Department revealed information about the conduct of pornographic broadcasts with the participation of a child. During the international operation “Revived Hope” (VIDFT), organized by the US Department of Homeland Security Investigations (ICE HSI) and the Cybercrime Center of the US Department of Homeland Security in Bucharest, Ukrainian police officers identified a resident of the Kharkiv region involved in the crime.

During a search of the apartment, computer equipment containing pornographic materials was seized.

The National Police investigators informed the woman of suspicion of sexual violence, i.e. committing violent acts of a sexual nature not related to penetration into the body of a person under the age of fourteen, regardless of her voluntary consent (Part 4 of Article 153 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), as well as of producing and distributing child pornography with coercion of a minor to participate in its creation (Part 4 of Article 301-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The suspect was taken into custody and faces up to 15 years in prison.

The victim and her two minor brothers were removed from the family by child services with the participation of guardianship and trusteeship authorities. The children are currently receiving psychological assistance.
