In Kherson, a Russian drone attacked a minibus: there are dead and many injured

Russian forces launched drone attacks on civilian targets in Kherson on July 1. In the morning, a strike drone hit a bus, and later another attack occurred in the city center. Both strikes killed three people, including an 18-year-old girl, and injured at least 11 others.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson OVA, Oleksandr Prokudin, and the head of the Kherson MVA, Yaroslav Shanko.

According to Prokudin, at around seven in the morning, a Russian drone attacked a shuttle bus in the Central District of Kherson, when the vehicle was filled with passengers.

“The operator of the enemy drone clearly saw that in front of him was civilian transport with people going about their business. But this terrorist consciously made the decision to strike,” Prokudin emphasized.

The attack killed two people, including an 18-year-old girl. According to the head of the OVA, she was on her way to apply for admission to an educational institution, and the tragedy occurred in front of her mother.

Nine more people were injured. A 36-year-old man and five women aged 52 to 57 were taken to hospital. Two medical workers were also among the injured. Most of the victims were diagnosed with mine and blast injuries and shrapnel wounds, and one woman is in serious condition after surgery.

Later, the Russian military again attacked Kherson with a drone. According to Yaroslav Shank, a Gerber/Shahed drone hit the central part of the city, causing a fire in one of the buildings and damaging the windows of neighboring high-rise buildings.

“As a result of this cynical attack, a woman died and two other townspeople were injured,” Shanko said.

Thus, as a result of two Russian attacks in Kherson, three civilians were killed and at least 11 more people were injured.
