In Khmelnytskyi, a man opened fire in the middle of the street: details

In Khmelnytskyi, on April 29, patrol officers detained a man who opened fire in the middle of the street. The incident occurred on Instytutska Street during patrol.

This was reported on Telegram by the patrol police of the Khmelnytskyi region.

Today, while on patrol, police officers noticed a man who suddenly started shooting with an object that looked like an air gun.

The attacker fired several shots, hitting a parked civilian car and a company car that was driving nearby.

Law enforcement officers responded quickly — stopped the car, and then detained the man using handcuffs and special equipment.

An investigative and operational team was called to the scene to establish the circumstances of the incident. Fortunately, no one was injured.

Upon the fact of the offense, investigators entered data into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations under Part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (hooliganism with the use of weapons or other objects adapted to inflict bodily harm).

The man has already been sentenced to a preventive measure in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

We will remind you that on Saturday, April 25, in the city of Bucha, law enforcement officers detained a 42-year-old man who, while intoxicated, opened fire right on the street.

Earlier, in Lviv, residents heard gunshots in one of the high-rise buildings on April 23. After eyewitnesses reported the incident, law enforcement officers and special police units quickly arrived at the scene.
