In Khmelnytskyi, students from the Mriya children’s football school gathered outside the TCC and SP building, demanding the release of their 56-year-old coach, who they say is receiving a legal deferment from military service.

According to the deputy, the man trains about 200 children at the Mriya football school and cares for his 88-year-old bedridden mother, which is the basis for the deferment.
The published footage shows children gathered outside the building of the territorial recruitment center, calling for the release of the mentor.
So far, official comments from the Khmelnytskyi TCC regarding the situation have not been made public.
As reported, police in Kyiv’s Shevchenkivskyi district are investigating the beating of a veteran who, according to preliminary reports, sustained injuries during a conflict with members of a public safety alert group. According to information posted online, the man was surrounded by men in balaclavas, after which one of them struck the veteran in the head, and another used pepper spray.
