In Kyiv, a man shot at a volunteer’s car

In the Podolsk district of Kyiv, a man on a bicycle opened fire on a volunteer’s car, in which a woman and her son were located.

This was reported by the press service of the Kiev City Prosecutor’s Office.

The investigation established that the 46-year-old Kiev resident, riding a bicycle, pulled out a pistol and shot at a Ford car, after which he disappeared. The volunteer reported that she had no conflicts with the attacker and does not understand the reasons for his actions.

As it turned out, before that, another white car had doused the cyclist with water from a puddle, after which he hit the car with his hand and began to chase him. Subsequently, he caught up with another white car, confusing it with the one that had doused him, and fired a shot.

Law enforcement officers detained the shooter and confiscated the pistol. He is being charged under Part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (hooliganism with the use of firearms), which provides for up to 7 years of imprisonment.
