In Kyiv, a Russian man under the influence of amphetamines beat a 13-year-old girl to death
A 23-year-old Russian citizen will be tried in Kyiv for a fatal road accident in Obolon, which resulted in the death of a 13-year-old girl.
This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office.
The accident occurred in the evening of November 2025. According to the investigation, the driver of the Tesla Model 3 was driving from the side of Bogatyrska Street towards Obolonsky Avenue and did not let pedestrians pass at an unregulated pedestrian crossing.
A 13-year-old girl was crossing the road with a 15-year-old boy. The girl died on the spot as a result of the collision, but the boy was not injured.
The prosecutor’s office noted that the car was traveling at a speed of almost 150 km/h.
It was also established that on the day of the accident, the driver refused to undergo a sobriety test and a medical examination. However, the next day, tests confirmed the use of amphetamine.
The accused is currently being held without bail.
Juvenile prosecutors of the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office have already sent the indictment to the court.
A man faces up to 10 years in prison for causing a fatal accident.
