In Kyiv, a taxi driver beat a passenger and broke her jaw: all the details of the incident

A 24-year-old taxi driver will appear in court in Kyiv after beating his female passenger during a conflict. The attack left the woman with a broken jaw, and the accused faces up to 3 years in prison.

This is reported by the Kyiv police.

Law enforcement officers determined that during the trip, a 27-year-old Kyiv woman felt sick, causing her to dirty the car interior. The driver reacted aggressively and kicked the passenger out of the car.

The man then punched the woman twice in the face and left the scene. Doctors diagnosed the victim with a concussion and a fractured jaw.

The officers quickly identified the attacker as a 24-year-old resident of Kyiv who worked as a taxi driver.

Investigators of the Dnipro Police Department informed the man of suspicion under Part 1 of Article 122 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – intentional bodily harm of moderate severity.

The pre-trial investigation has now been completed, and the indictment has been sent to court. The accused faces up to 3 years in prison for the crime.
