In Kyiv, a protest march began near the Arch of Freedom. According to the organizers, the actions against Fedorov’s release have been ongoing since July 16. The participants of the action are holding cardboard posters with the inscriptions “Dialogue with the people”, “Fedorov in the Ministry of Defense”, “Fedorov = Minister of Defense”, “Thank you for Drapaty, but we are not finished yet”. The final point of the protest march is supposed to be Ivan Franko Square.

In Dnipro, about 100 people joined a march in support of the former defense minister. Participants marched through the central part of the city, calling for Fedorov to be reinstated and for defense reforms to continue.

“To show the president and the Verkhovna Rada once again that we care, we are still going to protest,” said one of the participants in the action in Dnipro.

In Cherkasy, participants gathered at Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Square and marched along Shevchenko Boulevard to Soborna Square. The townspeople said that protests against Fedorov’s release have been going on for four weeks.

By the way, a protest march was held in the center of Kyiv on the evening of July 31, demanding the return of Mykhailo Fedorov to the post of Minister of Defense . The action temporarily restricted traffic, and participants observed a minute of silence for those who died in the war.

It is worth adding that on July 16, the first rallies in support of former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov took place in a number of Ukrainian cities . People took to the streets after the decision to dismiss him, calling on the authorities to reconsider the personnel changes.

As a reminder, President Volodymyr Zelensky decided to dismiss Mykhailo Fedorov from the position of Minister of Defense due to a long-standing conflict with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky.
